Selling to the kings


So I was working with a private client the other day and we were discussing the goal of selling his product to 6000 people within a month.

6000 of anything to sell to anybody for most business’s is a lot right?
Especially if its priced in the high hundreds.

I explained to him a tactic which I’ve used before in the past.
Its pretty simple, yet so many people over look it.

Instead of wasting your time trying to pitch and sell 6000 people that they need your product why not just go straight to the top?

Find the biggest business’s / corporations or groups and pitch to the leader, the king. Pitch to the person up the top that the 6000 people in his team NEED your product.

This approach means that you only need to sell 1 person to generate 6000 sales. Complete different approach right?!

After coaching him on this method we started to generate a hit list of the biggest 10 targets, or kings as I like to call them.

If he can sell to all 10 kings….does mean he might generate 60,000 sales in a month? Very possible!

Soooooo…Have a look around your market place, are there any “kings” out there or big corporations that if you sold the person up the top you could generate a BULK of sales at once.

Anyway just wanted to share that food for thought
